Welcome to Delahays Dental Practice – a trusted name in Hale, Altrincham, since 1952. For over 70 years, we’ve been caring for generations of families right here in the community. What began as a small, family-focused practice has grown into a welcoming, modern dental home – but our core values have never changed: honest, gentle dentistry with a smile. We are predominantly an NHS dental practice, committed to making excellent oral healthcare accessible to all.

Alongside our NHS services, we offer a range of private options for those who wish to enhance their smile or need more flexible appointment times.

Our services include NHS examinations, fillings, and extractions, along with preventative advice and hygiene appointments. We offer children’s dentistry under the NHS, as well as private options such as white fillings, implants, teeth whitening, Invisalign and cosmetic bonding. We also provide same day emergency appointments for new and registered patients.

Our hygiene services help prevent gum disease and keep your breath fresh. We’ll remove plaque and tartar, then show you how to maintain that clean feeling at home. Available on both NHS and private bases.

Dental Fillings

When a filling is needed, we act quickly to restore your tooth and stop further decay. We offer NHS amalgam fillings as well as private tooth-coloured options that blend naturally with your smile.

Dentures & Veneers

For missing teeth, we provide comfortable, natural-looking dentures on the NHS. Privately, we also offer cosmetic veneers to improve the shape and colour of front teeth – perfect for a confident smile.

Emergency Dentistry

Dental pain or a broken tooth can’t wait. For our registered patients, we offer emergency appointments to get you out of pain fast. Call us first thing, and we’ll do our best to see you the same day.

Teeth Whitening

A brighter smile in just a few weeks. This is a private treatment only, using safe, take-home kits prescribed by our dentists. Lighten discolouration and boost your confidence – without leaving Hale.
